Electric boat motors are becoming increasingly popular thanks to their quiet operation, efficiency, and environmentally friendly nature compared to traditional propulsion systems. However, as performance and areas of use continue to expand, comfortable and safe control solutions are becoming more and more important as well.

That is why we are working on a new “E-Boat Motor – Remote Control Lever” project, designed to allow the electric boat motor to be controlled remotely — even directly from the helm station instead of beside the motor itself.

One of the biggest advantages of a remote control lever is comfort. On larger boats or fishing platforms, constantly handling speed and direction changes near the motor can be inconvenient. Remote control allows the operator to steer the boat from a comfortable position while keeping all essential controls within easy reach.

Safety is also an important factor. In bad weather, rough water, or during maneuvering, it is much safer and more stable to control the propulsion system from the central part of the boat. In addition, more precise control can be a great advantage during docking or navigating in tight spaces.

During the project, our goal is to develop a compact, durable, and modern control lever that could be compatible with various electric boat motor systems. The development is still in the prototype phase, but the first mechanical designs have already been completed.

More updates and interesting details related to the project can also be found on the e-csonakmotor.hu website.
